As many of you may know, in addition to blogging on My Metro NY Mommy, I own/run a social network for local moms. I recently asked the moms to recall 9/11:
This weekend we remember that day in history. Can you believe it is TEN years? The rest of the world may not remember it as clear as we do, but New Yorkers have lived it firsthand. Maybe you even lost friends and family members on that day. Maybe someone you love helped in the rescue and recovery. September 11, 2011. The day no New Yorker will ever forget.
Let’s recall memories from 9/11/01. List five memories from that day. Feel free to list in your list men and women who lost their lives. Feel free to list your thoughts of the day. And let’s all pay tribute to those lost lives and the heroes of 9/11, and beyond. God Bless America.
