Knufflebunny Book Release and a GIVEAWAY!

Award-winning, bestselling author Mo Willems concludes one of the most beloved and celebrated picture book series of recent memory with the publication of KNUFFLE BUNNY FREE: AN UNEXPECTED DIVERSION, marking a triumphant end to the adventures of Trixie and her beloved stuffed bunny.  Having won two prestigious Caldecott Honor Awards for the first two titles in the series (Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale and Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity) and selling more than 750,000 books, the Knuffle Bunny series has earned its place in the hallowed halls of children’s literature -- and a special place in the hearts of kids and their parents.

The epic conclusion, KNUFFLE BUNNY FREE takes readers around the world while following Trixie and her family as they embark on a trans-Atlantic trip filled with many traveling “firsts” – first time waiting in line at airport security, first time riding a plane, first time in Holland and first time trying coffee at the café (NOT GOOD!).  Trixie and her parent’s adventure to visit Oma and Opa is told with artwork (including a breathtaking foldout spread) and stunning photos alongside pitch-perfect text.  An ode to the joys and sorrows of growing up, this last book is Mo’s ultimate love letter to his daughter, the real-life Trixie.   Booklist’s starred review sums up this newest release perfectly: ““This denouement is enough to give you goose bumps, and young readers may be wiping the tears from their parents’ cheeks. Good night, Knuffle Bunny.”

HarperCollins Children’s Books has put together a wonderful giveaway that includes a copy of KNUFFLE BUNNY FREE: AN UNEXPECTED DIVERSION, a squeezably soft stuffed Knuffle Bunny, a luggage tag featuring Trixie and Knuffle Bunny and a beautiful over-sized poster.

  3. my 4.5 year old Nora and I have loved this dad & daughter series from before Nora was talking. Trixie's life was just ahead of us, like and older friend, learning words and going to Pre-K. Nora loved seeing pigeon, we were shocked to find out the K wasn't silent in Too, and a stuffed knuffle bunny of our own has been a constant companion as we anticipate this next one. not last, please. Knuffle came on the 4K Terry Fox run with us last week. An amazing series, i've even gotten choked up over the family photos that open each book. Read them.

  7. We *love* Mo Willems here! I read my kids a quote one time about how he draws his characters so that a child will be able to draw them too and my middle child's face just lit up... she's been drawing Pigeons and Knuffle Bunnies ever since!

  11. My daughter - now 4 - was slow to grow hair, but was still a very girly girl. She was so happy to see baby Trixie in Knufflebunny with almost no hair, too. Girls can be almost hairless, too!

  13. We are HUGE Mo Willems fans. We love reading Knuffle Bunny too out loud to each other. The kids love reading the part about who they're gonna show Knuffle Bunny to, AND the K-Nuffle Knuffle shout off... and they still talk about going boneless.
