GIVEAWAY: Direct-to-Door Food Delivery from Schwan's

The holidays may be over (for now... the spring holidays are just around the corner!) but that doesn't mean that food delivery isn't a super option!

I recently reviewed some of Schwan's foods:  chicken pot pie, an eggplant and zucchini pie, apple pie and ice cream.  I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised, and I will CERTAINLY be using Schwan's service in the future... being a WAHM with four children, some days I want to make a healthy, homecooked meal but do not have the time.  This is pretty much right on!

I used to have chicken pot pies when I was a kid.  I always liked them.  Schwan's is MMMmmmm...  The crust was sooo good, my kids kept reaching over and pulling off a piece for themselves!  And, call me an Eggplant Professional of sorts.  My mother makes the BEST Eggplant Parm in the world (trust me on this one)... and she taught me how to make it just like hers.  I usually do not like eggplant anywhere else, because it does not compare...  Well, Schwan's Fresco by Scotto® Eggplant and Zucchini Pie was delicious!  Most people do not make eggplant like Mom and I do... we layer the eggplant with mozzarella, grated cheese AND ricotta, along with red sauce.  Well, SCOTTO DOES TOO!  And they add zucchini slices (got to remember that!).  My family enjoyed it as well.
